The Hergé Foundation

The Hergé Foundation was created on March 31st, 2022.
Its main purpose is to ensure the continuity and protection of Hergé’s work and to ensure
national and international renown and influence.
In this context, the Foundation will pay particular attention to respecting the wishes expressed by the author and his beneficiaries.
In particular, to oversee and finance all activities relating to Hergé’s work, relying on existing companies with experience in the field.
With this in mind, the Foundation will support and contribute to the financing of structures set up to protect the work and promote it through national and international exhibitions, and will support the Hergé Museum, established in Louvain-la-Neuve on May 22nd, 2009.
