The Hergé Foundation

The Hergé Foundation was created on March 31, 2022.

Its primary purpose is to ensure the preservation and protection of Hergé’s work and to promote its reputation and influence both nationally and internationally.

In this context, the Foundation will take particular care to respect the wishes expressed by the author and his heirs.
In particular, it will oversee and fund all activities related to Hergé’s work, drawing on existing companies with experience in this field.

With this in mind, the Foundation will support and contribute to the financing of structures set up to protect the work and promote it through national and international exhibitions, and will support the Musée Hergé, established in Louvain-la-Neuve on May 22, 2009.
