To restore the visitor reception area to its former glory, work is currently underway in the museum’s atrium.
This work, scheduled to continue through October 9, involves a complete repainting of the premises. Due to the unique layout of the space—notably characterized by high ceilings and sloping walls—scaffolding has been erected to allow the crews to work under the best possible conditions.
Committed to preserving the space’s visual identity, the teams will ensure that the various graphic motifs are reproduced exactly as they were. This project will thus restore the atrium’s luster while fully preserving its character and aesthetic.
During this time, the museum remains committed to providing a warm welcome to its visitors and is doing everything possible to minimize the impact of the construction work on their experience.
